I'm slowly adapting to Electron, and I love it!
Hey, dear readers.
I hope everybody’s doing well.
**This blog is a continuation of the last blog post, so be sure to read that before you read this one. ** As written before, I am going to rewrite the LightBrowser for all platforms, in Electron! I’ve already released my first application called “skribblDesktop”, which just took me a few days to release, and, I think, it turned out “pretty” well. I slowly get the hang of it, and the longer I use it, the more I get to love it.
My dates for the first release I “promised” the last blog are realistic, I am already working on it, and I am already looking forward to it, although it isn’t even released.
The only thing I’m still baffled about is the coding of the GUI for the browser. I quite don’t get how to make a search bar or a button only with HTML, JS and CSS. As I am used to working with WinForms, where the last named process is way easier than in Electron, but I know that I can work it out somehow.
Hopefully, I’ll have it released by December, the latest date I want to release my first version is January.
Stay safe, Raphipod
